“It’s a great day for America as President Biden has signed into law the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. This law is a significant step toward stemming the gun violence epidemic that our communities are enduring.
“It is especially welcome in light of the US Supreme Court ruling striking down New York’s concealed carry law, which will lead to more firearms on our streets.
“We look forward to working with our lawmakers on further legislation geared toward prevention and banning assault weapons.”

Clark and Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce Dudley, and brings together prosecutors to discuss policies, legislation, and strategies to help prevent and confront gun violence in their jurisdictions.
